¿Cuál es la misión de la Asociación para la Pesca Deportiva y Turística del Pacífico? Promover la sostenibilidad de los sectores de pesca deportiva y turismo en la Costa del Pacífico a través de la representación directa de los profesionales que trabajan en la industria ante el gobierno.

Nuestras metas:

1) Promover la sostenibilidad de la pesca deportiva en el Pacífico y asegurar un habitat marino saludable para las futuras generaciones. 2) Educar e informar tanto al public como al gobierno de los beneficios que la pesca deportiva y el turismo representan en la economía de Costa Rica. 3) Promover y proteger a las personas que trabajan activamente en el sector del turismo y de la pesca deportiva. 4) Promover las prácticas éticas y responsables en la pesca deportiva. 5) Invitar a todas las personas y organizaciones a participar en la promoción del turismo y la pesca deportiva en Costa Rica.

La Asociación fue creada con la intención de proteger la industria de la pesca deportiva y turística tanto ahorita como en el futuro. Su operación eventualmente quedará en manos de las generaciones por venir. Trabajando juntos todos, podemos asegurarnos de que ese futuro sea infinitamente brillante.

What is the mission of the Pacific Sport Fishing Association? To promote the sustainability of the sport fishing and tourism sectors of the Pacific Coast through the direct representation of the professionals who work in the industry before the government.

Our Goals:

1) To promote the sustainability of the Pacific fishery to ensure a healthy marine habitat for generations to come. 2) To educate and inform the general public and government officials about the benefits of sport fishing and tourism for the economy of Costa Rica. 3) To promote and protect those individuals who are actively employed by the tourism and sport fishing sectors. 4) To promote ethical and responsible angling and fishing practices. 5) To welcome all persons and organizations to participate in the promotion of tourism and sport fishing in Costa Rica.

The Association was created with the intention of protecting the sport fishing and tourism industry now and in the future. Its operation will eventually be left in the hands of the generations to come. Working together, we can ensure that their future is infinitely bright.
